The Movers Company (ABN 87 693 842 198) is operated by Billy and Jet Byrne. We take the privacy of your personal information seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

When you contact us for a quote or book a move, we may collect the following personal information:
Your name, phone number, and email address. Your pick-up and delivery addresses. Details about your move - home size, items to be moved, access conditions, preferred dates, and any other details you share with us to help us prepare an accurate quote.
How we collect it
We collect information when you submit the quote form on our website, call or text us directly, contact us via WhatsApp, or send us an email. We only collect information you provide voluntarily.
Why we collect it
We collect your information solely to provide you with an accurate quote, coordinate and deliver your removal service, and follow up after your move if needed. We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, with these limited exceptions:
QBE Insurance: if a damage claim arises in connection with your move, relevant information may need to be shared with our goods-in-transit insurer.
Our team: on larger jobs, Billy and Jet work with a small trusted team. Your address and job details may be shared with team members working on your move, but only to the extent needed to carry out the service.
We do not share your information with any other third parties unless required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as it is needed to deliver your service and for a reasonable period afterwards - generally up to 12 months. If you would like your information deleted sooner, contact us and we will arrange this promptly.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request corrections if any details are wrong, or ask us to delete your information. We will respond promptly to any of these requests.
