Billy and Jet handle this regularly - it's a genuinely different job to a standard local move, and we treat it that way.
This is different from our office moves service, which is about relocating a business - this page is for the individual employee being relocated, whether you're arranging it yourself or your employer's HR team or a relocation agent is coordinating it on your behalf.

How relocation moves actually work
The most common version of this job: belongings arrive in Sydney before a permanent home has been found, so they go into short-term storage and get delivered once a lease or purchase is settled. We'd rather plan for that upfront than have it become a scramble two weeks before a start date.
If your employer or a relocation agent is managing the process, we're happy to deal with them directly on timing and invoicing - you shouldn't have to be the middleman for logistics on top of everything else involved in relocating for a new role.
One thing worth knowing before the conversation with HR: relocation costs are generally not personally tax deductible in Australia, even when the move is required for a new job, and an employer relocation allowance is usually treated as taxable income.
