Removalists Mascot.
Airport adjacent, high-rise heavy. Moving here needs planning.
Mascot's name was decided by referendum. The area was originally part of the Municipality of North Botany, formed in 1888, and home to a racecourse called Ascot - named, like several Sydney landmarks of the era, after its famous English counterpart. When residents wanted a distinct identity for the area in 1911, a vote was held with three options on the ballot: Mascot, Boronia, and Booralee. Mascot won. The connection to flight came less than a decade later, when returned WWI serviceman Nigel Love leased 400 acres of cow paddocks from the Kensington Race Club in 1920 and turned them into an aerodrome. That site eventually grew into Sydney Airport, swallowing the old Ascot Racecourse, several cricket fields, two golf courses, and a polo ground along the way.
Mascot has transformed dramatically since then - from an industrial suburb to one of Sydney's densest apartment corridors, with high-rise towers rising alongside the airport precinct. The building logistics here are significant: strata rules, goods lift windows, loading dock access, and the added complexity of proximity to airport corridors that affect noise windows and access timing on some streets.
Billy and Jet handle Mascot moves with full preparation. They contact building management before the day, confirm lift access and loading dock availability, and arrive at the right time for the access window. They factor in airport-adjacent timing where relevant.
High-rise logistics near the airport - fully prepared before the day
O'Riordan Street and the surrounding apartment corridor near the Mascot station precinct have been transformed by development. Some of the newer towers have strict strata requirements including QBE insurance certification before removalists are permitted to start - Jet carries this documentation as standard.
Botany Road is one of those main arterials where parking is difficult and timed zones are actively enforced. For properties on the side streets, the loading position is confirmed before the day so there are no enforcement issues on the morning.
The Green Square urban renewal precinct to the immediate north of Mascot is one of Sydney's most significant development projects and it has changed the character of the boundary between Mascot and the inner suburbs considerably. Some of the apartment buildings that identify as Mascot addresses are on the fringe of that development zone and have the access characteristics of the newer Green Square buildings - structured strata requirements, contemporary loading dock access, and the stair and lift specifications of modern high-rise construction.

Two locals, not a call centre.
When you book a Mascot move, Billy or Jet runs it personally - not a call centre handing you off to whoever's free. They know strata building requirements well enough to plan the truck position and the day before it starts, not figure it out on the morning. On bigger jobs they bring in their own trusted, experienced team, but Billy or Jet is always on site - sometimes both of them. Either way, there's always a named person from The Movers Company accountable for your move. Every item is wrapped and carried properly, and your home - doorframes, walls, floors, at both ends - is protected the whole way through. Fully insured by QBE. No deposit, no cancellation fees.
